A couple of days ago, I went to hair salon at UQ to dye my hair black but I was a little bit nervous. That's because I couldn't find how I requested hair dressor in English.
I managed to tell reception the reason why I came to here and Asian woman who is from Japan dyed my hair black. While she did that, we talked about the reason why I came to Australia, how long I'm going to stay here and which part of Japan I live, which made me very relaxed.
After half an hour, a foreign woman washed my hair and put something on my hair to keep hair colour for a long time and then asked me how to dry my hair. She suggested parting it on the right side like a business man or putting my hair up like all back by dryer. I thought there were other choices expect her choices, althogh I told her I preferd the former. Furthermore, She put a lot of oil on my hair to make my hair like a businessman.
Lastly, Japanese woman tried to fix my hair but she couldn't do that well, which made my hair like bed hair. In addition to, I was laughed by some students who had watched my hair while I went back to my house.
But I think this was a good experience. Because I could learn some useful words to ask some hair dressors to cut or dye my hair owing to this experience.
Bed hair is very fashionable these days! Hehe. Nice post!
